MoPlay becomes official sports betting partner of Hertha Berlin
MoPlay, who only recently hit the online sportsbook market, have become the official sports betting partner of German Bundesliga side, Hertha Berlin. This follows their entry into the German market with its mobile-first, SBTech-powered sportsbook offering. The brand first went live in June 2018, with a soft launch in the UK.
Operated by Addison Global Limited, a company registered in Gibraltar, MoPlay are licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, registered with I.B.A.S and eCOGRA, and recently launched within Germany via a mobile first strategy to provide customers with a fast and secure service.
Engagement initiatives
By securing a sponsorship presence in the Bundesliga, which coincides with their launch into the German market, it is another statement of intent from this relatively new sports betting site.
MoPlay is to work alongside Hertha Berlin to develop a series of engagement initiatives for German bettors, which will also offer special promotions for the clubs fans to reward them for their support. The new agreement was negotiated in association with leading marketing agency, Lagardère Sports and Entertainment, a subsidiary of the Lagardère Group.
Mobile friendly sports betting
MoPlay offers a mobile friendly platform and also has an app, which allows customers to use the site on a tablet or mobile device. Their sportsbook has an excellent range of major sports to bet on, with specific in-depth markets for Football.

Hertha players pranked in media launch
As part of the media announcement about the new partnership, MoPlay sent an actor to prank the Hertha Berlin players, which has received thousands of social media hits. They invented a fake sports fitness company and showcased some bogus products including a sardine spray to keep the opposition away so you can make yourself more room on the pitch.
The online site, who also now include Manchester United and Watford FC as official betting partners, have quickly built their brand thanks to these kind of lucrative sponsorship deals.
